Edge Sidewinder
The Edge Sidwinder makes a great buggy project and has fully independent front suspesion and monoshocks
rear suspension, which combined gives very good handling over all types of off road surfaces at high speeds.

This design from the Edge is one of the most nimble and compact of all the designs available and makes a great fun
off road vehicle.
Buggy is designed to be powered by a 350cc - 650cc single cylinder enduro or
motocross bike motors which are mounted besides the driver. Top speeds in excess of 120kph can be obtained
and 0 - 100kph times in 6.5 seconds.
Front Suspension is a very basic and simple Single ‘A’ Arm with motorcycle Mono-shocks. Rear suspension is a swingarm system
with a solid axle and single motocross Mono-shock.
Drive system is via chain from the motor to the Axle, the motor’s sprocket being positioned inline with the suspension
arm pivot point for reliable and precise chain tension. Steering is via a car-type Rack & Pinion to eliminate bumpsteer and give
precise control on rough terrain.
