Rage Buggy

The Rage Buggy is handbuilt in the UK and comes in many different models from the high power to weight ratio to the more sedate models depending on engine size.

Just recently the R180T model was released on the Australian market and can accelerate from zero to 100km/h in just 3.5 seconds. So it's no toy as the acceleration figures are more in line with super high performance cars like the Ferrari.

Pricing for these buggies is from around $31K for the basic entry level single seater R20 buggy, which comes ready to drive and powered by a big V-twin motorcycle engine. At the other end of the scale of the Rage Buggy range is the top of the line R180T 2 seater which retails for around $78K.

The R180T is powered by a Honda Fireblade motorcycle engine of 1000cc that is super high reving and comes with just over 180hp running through a 6-speed manual gearbox. Top speed is in the order of 180 - 200 km/h.

You may think the Rage buggy is only good for off road use, but they are also supposed to be pretty good on the tarmac and even have models that can be legally road registered in some countries.
